My name is Beth Shiels and I am working as the lead teacher in the

Voyagers classroom.

 

​My first experience with Church Street was in 2011 when my first born

started there. During that time, I served as a board member, on the

Apple Blossom Committee, and as a substitute. In 2015, I started

working as a teaching assistant and have worked in the 2's, 3's, and pre-K classes. I have now obtained my CDA and am excited to be working as the lead teacher.

 

I graduated from Becker College with a degree in Veterinary Technology and worked as a Veterinary Technician for 10 years before becoming a parent. 

 

I live in Milan with my husband, 4 kids: Madilyn, Oliver, Juliet, and Violet (all Church Street Alumni).  I am an animal lover and have 2 cats and a dog. When I am not shuttling kids to various sports and activities I enjoy hiking, swimming, and reading. 

 

I look forward to working with all of the students this year and getting to know them and their families.
