Our Teachers

Holly serves as the Director of Church Street Community Nursery School and still gets into all the classrooms to help where needed. Her relationship with Church Street began in 2010 when her oldest child began attending the Toddler & Me class. Since then, all three of her children have attended Church Street! Her favorite thing about this school are the people you meet that remain friends for years to come! Holly taught at Church Street since 2012 with experience teaching 2's, 3's and Pre-K. She has been the director since 2021.

Kaylee has been a part of Church Street since 2022 when her daughter first attended. She joined our Board of Directors and began subbing in our classrooms. It was evident that Kaylee was a great fit for our school and she was hired in 2023. 

Corinne has been a part of Church Street since 2021 when her son attended. She began her employment with us in the Fall of 2022. Corinne has been active on our Event Committee and is our resident organizer! Her latest project was tackling our storage room and transforming it into our new "Toy Exchange" room.  

Heather began working as an Assistant Teacher in the 2's and 3's class in Fall 2021. Heather's journey with Church Street started back in September 2015 when her oldest daughter started school here! Since then, her other two daughters attended school here, with her youngest graduating in 2024. Prior to her employment, Heather was active on our Board of Directors and was a substitute teacher. The small school atmosphere and the relationships you can develop with parents and teachers is why she has always felt home here at Church Street!

Beth began working as an assistant teacher here at Church Street in 2015. With 10 years of experience and four kids of her own, she is now fully equipped to take on the role of lead teacher. All four of her children attended our school, with her youngest graduating in 2023. Prior to her employment with us, Beth was active on our Board of directors and Apple Blossom Committee. 

Megan has been a part of Church Street since 2020 when her oldest son attended our school. All three of her children attended school here, with her youngest graduating in 2024. Megan began her employment with us in the Fall of 2022, but prior to that she volunteered as a substitute and played a vital role on our event committee. She is famous for her delicious baking skills!

Danielle has been a part of Church Street since 2023, when her oldest  child began attending school here. She has subbed in our classrooms and is now stepping into role of Teaching Assistant while Mrs. Dargan is on maternity leave. Danielle has enthusiasm for helping young children grow, learn, and thrive and we are excited to have her join our team!

Katherine (K.C.) first came to Church Street when her son was in the Adventurers class in 2024. KC began subbing in our classrooms and it was clear from the start that she had a passion for teaching early learners! KC brings a warm and supportive presence to the classroom and we are so happy to have her!

Barbara worked at Church Street many years ago before moving on to become a special education teacher. She played a substantial role in starting the special education program in the Pine Plain Central School District. She is also the president of our Board of Directors. Her grandson attended Church Street in previous years, and Barbara has been involved in some capacity ever since! She is truly an asset to our school community.
